Mahatma Gandhi said that if the vision is for one year, cultivate flowers; if the vision is for ten years, cultivate trees; if the vision is for eternity – cultivate people. Ramesh Muthunayagi, a young man from a poor family in Tamil Nadu, India, definitely has the long vision. He obtained a Masters Degree in BioChemistry, but instead of taking a well paid job in a lab in Bangalore or Chennai, he decided to stay in his home town of Thiruvannamalai and – spend his life cultivating both trees and people. This is a short video to show some of what he is doing.
